This May, the Belton Middle School Band performed for the Richard Campbell Veterans Nursing Home in Belton, South Carolina, and the Maples Nursing Home in Honea Path, South Carolina.

On Tuesday, May 12th, and Wednesday, May 13th, select students performed solos and chamber music indoors for the residents.

On Tuesday, May 19th, the full Belton Middle Concert Band, comprised of 7th and 8th-grade band students, performed an outdoor concert on the front lawn for the residents of Richard Campbell Nursing Homes.

After each performance, the students took time to visit and share joy with each of the residents in attendance. We are extremely proud of our Warriors for giving back to their community!

From Anderson District 2: Summer Meals Program--All children and teens 18 years of age and younger may receive meals at no cost, regardless of the school they attend. Meals must be eaten on site at Honea Path Elementary (HPES) or Belton-Honea Path High (BHP). Please refer to the flyer for additional details.

From Anderson District 2: Summer Meals To Go-Children and teens 18 years of age and younger may also receive weekend “Meals to Go” on select dates. To participate, a parent or guardian must complete the weekly Google Form by the deadline to reserve meals. The form will be emailed to families each week. Meals can be picked up at HPES or BHP. Please see the image for more information.

Yesterday, our 7th grade students who completed the 20 Book Challenge celebrated with pizza and a movie! 🍕🎬 Mrs. Schmidt and Mrs. Hitch are beyond proud of Anna, Eva, Maximus, John, Bryce, and (not pictured) Kelleigh, Aggie, and Levi for this awesome accomplishment! 🖤💛

Yesterday we celebrated our 8th Grade Awards Day and recognized the hard work, leadership, growth, and accomplishments of an outstanding group of students. We are proud of all they have achieved and can’t wait to see what’s next for them! 🖤💛

Day 3 of 8th grade adventure to Charleston. Boone Hall Plantation to start the day followed by a tour of the SC State House. Now to get this crew home! Great learning, great students, great trip. Go Warriors!
