Every day, firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, tow truck operators, utility crews, and roadside workers put themselves in harm’s way to serve and protect our communities.

When you see emergency vehicles or work crews stopped on the side of the road with flashing lights:

➡️ Move over one lane if it is safe to do so.
➡️ If you cannot safely move over, slow down significantly.

A few seconds of caution can save a life.

Our first responders work inches from passing traffic while helping crash victims, fighting fires, and providing emergency medical care. Please do your part to help ensure everyone makes it home safely.

🚒 Slow down.
🚓 Move over.
❤️ Protect those who serve.

Lives are on the line.

Thank you Mike Dent and Wings, Pizza & Things for putting on another record-breaking golf tournament benefitting CASA of Bell and Coryell Counties!

What an incredible day for CASA of Bell & Coryell Counties!

Today, we had the honor of celebrating the success of our 6th Annual CASA Classic Golf Tournament with a special check presentation. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and community supporters, we raised a record-breaking **$75,000** to support the children we serve throughout Bell and Coryell Counties.

A special thank you goes to Mike and Sara Dent, owners of Wings Pizza N' Things, for their unwavering support of CASA and the children in our community. Their generosity, leadership, and commitment to giving back continue to make a lasting impact on the lives of local children and families. We are incredibly grateful for all they do, not only for CASA but for our community as a whole.

Because of supporters like Mike and Sara, CASA can continue recruiting, training, and supporting volunteer advocates who ensure children who have experienced abuse or neglect have a voice and the opportunity to thrive in a safe, permanent home.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year's tournament our most successful yet. Together, we are changing children's lives for the better. 💙

Always good to review to remember why we're designed the way we are! If this is the first time you've heard this, our public school system has failed us!

Traveling this summer? Whether you're staying in a hotel or motel, take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with your surroundings in case of an emergency.

When you arrive:

✔️ Read the emergency escape plan posted in your room.✔️ Count the number of doors between your room and the nearest exits.✔️ If exit doors are not alarmed, open them to ensure they are unlocked and accessible.✔️ Locate more than one way out of the building.✔️ Keep your room key, phone, and shoes near your bed while you sleep.

Being prepared can make all the difference during an emergency. A few minutes of planning can help keep you and your family safe while enjoying your vacation.

Safe travels this summer! 🚒

It's always been a great rodeo! Some of my fondest memories as a child were made at this rodeo and in this arena!
