Learning for Littles is our free, weekly story time in The Village... and this Wednesday we have a special guest reader!

Our CEO John Searby recently published his first children’s book “The Guardian of Lost Hollow”, about Willow, the dragon who protects The Gardens. This your chance to let your child be one of the first to hear the story - and you can even see Willow and the locations in the book in The Gardens after Learning for Littles!

Copies of “The Guardian of Lost Hollow” will be available for purchase if your kiddos can’t get enough of Willow! Don’t miss this free opportunity to explore the magical world of Lost Hollow.

Thank you to our Learning for Littles sponsor !

Music + nature go hand-in-hand, so we challenged our Horticulture staff to pick a song to represent different gardens and outdoor spaces at Stowe. Which members of the Horticulture staff get the aux? 🎶

Want to listen along during your next visit? A playlist (created by Formal Gardens Manager Lindsey) with all these songs is linked on our story highlight on our profile! 🎧 Happy listening!

“I was energized and thrilled. This fueled me for the remainder of the day and helped me fall asleep quickly at night.”

“I loved the outward-facing circle exercise. It helped me clear my mind and practice questioning and looking.”

“Prior to the Forest Bathing experience, I had not been sleeping well. Since the experience, I’ve had some of the best sleep of my life.”

Intrigued? That’s the Forest Bathing effect. Lots of people are curious about the name and experience, but the results of our participants speak for themselves.

During Forest Bathing, you’ll be guided through a meditative wander in the forest. It’s not a hike; it’s a journey of unplugging, slowing down and embracing gratitude for the natural world around you. 🌲
