Friends of the Belmont Public Library Friends of the Belmont Public Library, NH are dedicated to supporting the services & expansion of BPL You can also drop by a Friends Meeting to sign up.

Become a Friend Today and support life-long learning and technological access for the people of Belmont! The Friends of the Belmont Public Library is a nonprofit membership group that works to strengthen, promote, and support the Belmont Public Library. It is committed to helping the Library meet the diverse needs of the Belmont community and open doors to lifelong learning and discovery for every

one. Some members limit their participation to their annual dues. Other members are involved in monthly meetings, book sales and other community events that raise money for and promote use of the Library. To become a member, simply email us at [email protected] and we'll get you started. Dues are:
Senior (60+) $7
Individual $10
Family $20
Lifetime $100

Dues renew annually in January of each year. Friends meet on the second Friday of each month, at 10:00am on the 4th floor of the Belmont Mill building. It's a good idea to email us before coming to your first meeting--in case we'll changed something! Thank you!

We have two beautiful posters of the wildflowers of the Jeff Marden Town Forest and the Belmont Spur Trail, taken on-site over the last two years by a local nature photographer. $4.00 unframed $15.00-25.00 framed. Plus cookies, Friends memberships, and the Library's display of things available to take out that aren't books - like metal detectors! Come see us tomorrow at the Fair!

β€œSupport your community library! Join at the Belmont Public Library and we have a small gift bag and annual membership card for you! Or use the library website to register (the Friends are on the About Us drop down list), mail in your check, and we will mail you a membership card and gift. Working closely with library staff and trustees, we fundraise, secure grants, enhance library services and prepare for the needed library addition. The active Friends fund state park passes for town residents; we create outreach materials like More Than Books, a flier listing library resources that aren’t books - a huge list! Friends can also support the library by submitting annual dues only. All levels of participation are welcome!
