If folks in Belmont heard a loud bang today, we now know what it was. A meteor!

The unsettling boom, rumble and shaking heard and felt across Greater Boston Saturday afternoon may have come from a meteor, according to meteorologist Danielle Noyes. Now it's up to NASA to confirm what happened.

An excellent and well written article by the Belmont Voice about the progress made by Disabled Belmont students, while also noting the importance of our town and schools working with families to make sure the Belmont students can learn, grow, and thrive. Especially highlighting the benefits of having neurodivergent and neurotypical students working and learning together.

Belmont supports Affordable Housing!: Proud of my community, together our fellow town meeting members (including myself) invested two million dollars in a redevelopment of Sherman Gardens. This will not only modernize our rapidly aging public housing, and make it more ADA (Americans With Disabilities Act) accessible and will add 40 (!) brand new affordable units. Many units are specifically aimed for seniors to be able to stay in our community. This is a step forward, we still need more but this helps get us closer to 10% of Belmont housing stock being qualified as affordable.
