Belmont Community Organization

Belmont Community Organization The BCO offers assistance with the basic necessities of life: food, clothing, shelter, medicine, fuel, utilities and household furnishings.

The Belmont Community Organization (BCO), established out of Christian love and concern, is a charitable, volunteer ministry dedicated to providing emergency aid for needy families and individuals in the greater Belmont and New Hope areas. The BCO seeks to relieve the hardships of clients in crisis situations and to help those with long-term needs or chronic problems by referring them to other app

ropriate agencies where help is available. It does not discriminate with respect to age, race, religion, creed, or national origin. The BCO is a partner agency of Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina (SHFBM). SHFBM partners and distributes food and essential grocery items to approximately 550 hunger feeding agencies in 19 counties in North and South Carolina. Agencies served include emergency pantries, soup kitchens, senior programs, shelters and low-income daycares.
