Today, I had the pleasure of traveling to Raleigh to meet with our state representatives to discuss some important issues that we’re facing here in Belmont.
What an incredible experience this was.
It was great to have open dialogue and direct access to the elected officials that control our states’ budget.
I’m hoping that these meetings will continue to help our city get the care and attention that it rightly deserves.

On the campaign trail, I spoke a lot about how we need “smart growth” and this is exactly what I meant.
I want us to focus less on apartment construction and more on commercial growth that can help the hard working people of this town.

It was an absolute pleasure to be at the American Legion this morning for a Veteran’s Day celebration!
Thank you to all of those that have served and made the sacrifices to miss family holidays, birthdays and time with family. I am forever grateful for that sacrifice.
Your service paved the way for people like me to serve in the military today!
Thank you and welcome home, veterans!

(😂Side note: If you were apart of the 2006 Post 144 Legion Baseball team with me…AKA the greatest Legion team ever assembled, here is our plaque. lol)

Thank you so much Belmont! I am so humbled to be able to represent this town as your new City Councilman!
Thank you everyone for taking time out of your day yesterday to cast a vote and make your voice heard! That type of support means the world to me!
But I would not be here without the support from one person in particular….my beautiful wife, Katie Hedrick Hill thank you so much for being my rock. A source of unwavering support. I definitely could not have done this without you! I love you so much!
Also, I want to thank all of the unpaid volunteers that took time out of their day to come and help me work the polls yesterday! You guys were nothing short of amazing! It was awesome to see! Thank you so much!
And if you reached out to me at any point during the campaign and asked for a sign or wanted to know what you could do to help….Thank you so much for your support! It means the world to me to have had that many people want to actively show their support for my vision! I cant say thank you enough for that type of support! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!
I also want to congratulate Jason Rumfelt, Jim Hefferan and Richard Turner on their successful campaign runs! I can’t wait to get working along side of them to do what’s best for all of Belmont!
