As technology continues to be a big part of our students’ lives, we want to help parents and guardians stay informed about the apps and social media platforms that children and teens may be using. Please take a few minutes to review the attached guide, which provides information about common apps, how they are used, and potential concerns to be aware of. ❗️We are excited to share that the Fuel the Blue Devils No-Sell Fundraiser sponsored by the Bellwood-Antis K-8 PTO is now underway! The PTO listened to family feedback and created a simple fundraising opportunity with no products to sell and no deliveries to make. Families can simply collect donations of any amount to support PTO-funded programs, activities, and events that benefit our students and school community.

Donations can be made online at: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/peer-to-peer/bellwood-antis-pto-k-8-fuel-the-blue-devils-fundraiser You can set up a peer-to-peer fundraising platform if you wish to personalize and track donations on your child's behalf.

Every student who raises any amount will earn a ticket to attend a special dance party during the school day. In addition, families will be entered into a sweepstakes drawing for the chance to win one of five $200 gift cards. All donations must be received by October 23.

Our Spring Renaissance Rally yesterday was a great celebration of school spirit, positive behavior, and student achievement. Students enjoyed participating in fun games and activities, but the highlight of the rally was recognizing our Citizenship Award winners. Three students from each grade level were nominated by their teachers for consistently demonstrating kindness, leadership, respect, and positive character throughout the school year.

5th Grade Nominees: Colby Hewitt, Griffin Smith, and Kendall Swogger.

6th Grade Nominees: Luke Stinson, Benjamin Aguayo, and Aviva Cohn.

7th Grade Nominees: Norah Gerwert, Cooper McCahan, and Lyla Noonan.

Our 7th grade Field Day is coming up in mid-May, and we’re excited to give our students a fun, active, and memorable experience! To make this event a success, we’re asking for a little help from our amazing community.
