Bellville is a village in Richland County in the U.S. state of Ohio.Bellville is located at 40°37′32″N 82°31′5″W (40.625582, -82.518050),[9] along the Clear Fork of the Mohican River. According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.75 square miles (7.12 km2), of which, 2.74 square miles (7.10 km2) is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 km2) is water. Bellville is located within the Clear Fork Valley Local School District. Schools in the district that are located in Bellville are Bellville Elementary School. Clear Fork Middle School and Clear Fork High School are located just outside of Bellville. Known for its agriculture, Bellville is Home of the annual Bellville "Worlds Fair".

FAIR WEEK!

The 176th Bellville Street Fair is almost here!
Main Street will be closed to allow for the festivities. The Utility Department will be closing roadways from Sunday, September 13, 2026 through Sunday, September 20, 2026. Detour routes will be posted. Many roads will become a ONE-WAY road. Please remember that there are no double lanes on these roads. They are one direction, one lane.
Please exercize patience as pedestrian and vehicle traffic will increase.

Let's face it, expenses are high enough right now without adding citation costs! Enjoy Fair Week and Stay Safe!
