Your local unit of the Salvation Army is "manning" the red kettle at Stoodts Market again this year. Monies collected during our red kettle campaign provide 95% of our operating funds for the year. PLEASE consider helping us out by volunteering to ring the bell. If you have questions or are interested in helping us help your neighbors in need, call Liisa at 419-565-0003.

The Salvation Army Clear Fork Unit(SACCFU) is once again providing free backpacks to Clear Fork students and School supplies kit to grades 3,4 and 5. Please see the attached flyer.

BACK TO SCHOOL SHOPPING SPREE is back again this year. It will be held on Saturday August 9th from 10am till noon. We are guaranteeing that 30 students get to shop. We hope to be able to add additional students. Please stop by the BNOC to fill out an application. The BNOC is open Monday thru Thursday 10am till 4 pm and Friday & Saturday 10am till 1pm.

Camp NEOSA is a free summer camp that is run by the Northeast Ohio Salvation Army. This year the camp is from July 14-July 18th. Please see the attached flyer. First Registration time is Tuesday!

The Salvation Army Clear Fork Unit wants to publicly thank Ryan & Maria Buchanan, independent owner-operators of the Ontario Grocery Outlet for their kind and generous donations of food and sundry products. These donations went to the Richland County Humane Society, the Domestic Violence Shelter and Wayfinders(formerly Harmony House). The items donated helped to feed upwards of 70 men, women and children housed at DVS and Wayfinders. Dog food and treats were welcomed at the Humane Society, which operates on a tight budget.😊

We are so happy to have our page back up. Times are getting tougher for everyone. The Salvation Clear Fork Unit is here to help residents of Bellville and Butler with utility bills, rent, fuel cards and prescriptions. Please prayerfully consider helping us in our mission of helping our neighbors in need. We understand that the current economic climate has us all concerned. We have to close applications for the back to school shopping spree as we have filled all available slots and have a waiting list.

But we do have some good news! We have free school back packs for Clear Fork students grades K thru 12. We also have free school supply kits for elementary students ONLY. If your student needs a back pack and possibly a supply kit(Elementary Students Only), please stop by the BNOC on main street in Bellville during the hours of 10am till 4pm Monday thru Friday and 10am till 1pm on Saturdays.

The Salvation Army Clearfork Unit is once again having a back to school shopping spree. It will be held on Saturday August 12th starting at 10am, at the Possum Run Walmart. Parent or guardian MUST fill out an application form which can be obtained at the BNOC. The BNOC is located at 84 Main St. in Bellville and is open 10am till 4pm Mondays thru Fridays and 10am till 1pm on Saturdays. ALL applications must be turned in by Monday August 7th.
