Summer School – Week 2: France 🇫🇷

This week, our STREAM classes traveled to France! Students learned about French architecture, painting styles, famous artwork, sporting events, and traditional foods.

We put our teamwork and engineering skills to the test by building marshmallow-and-toothpick models inspired by the Louvre Museum. Students drew Eiffel Tower scenes and practiced watercolor painting techniques. Instead of eating snails, we decided decorating them sounded much more fun! 🤣

Everyone who was at school was transformed into a famous painting, and we wrapped up the week with our very own Tour de BES inspired by the famous Tour de France!

Bells Elementary is seeking a Cafeteria Manager for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year!

Responsibilities include:
✅ Maintaining production records
✅ Operating the cash register
✅ Cleaning and maintaining the cafeteria
✅ Ordering food and supplies
✅ Restocking coolers
✅ Conducting monthly inventory
✅ Managing menus
✅ Working as part of a team

💰 Pay will be based on experience.

🏛️ Summer School Week 1: Ancient Greece! 🏛️

Our STREAM classes traveled back in time to Ancient Greece this week! Students chose new Greek names and wrote them in Greek style, designed beautiful gold and beaded jewelry, and crafted gold leaf crowns fit for royalty. ✨

We used our imaginations to create and illustrate mythical creatures, complete with unique abilities and traits, built pom-pom catapults, and molded clay sculptures and pottery. 🎨🏺

To wrap up the week, students designed custom togas and visited our Ancient Greek Museum before proudly showcasing their creations in a parade for everyone to enjoy! 🇬🇷👏

What an incredible week of creativity, engineering, history, and fun! 💙⚡🏛️

Our students and staff had so much fun celebrating Awards Day for May UTrust! 🏆✨

Students were given “Give this to the teacher who…” cards and got to hand them out to the staff members who they thought of when they read it. From teachers who had the best laugh, to the ones who encouraged them, helped them, or made class unforgettable — every award was filled with appreciation and smiles! 🍎

It was such a fun way to recognize the incredible people who make our school a great place to learn and grow. Thank you to our amazing staff for the impact you make every single day! 👏
