I am truly honored by the show of support during this election and I want to thank everyone that participated. It acknowledges the great progress we’re made in the Village and you can expect two more years of hard work from me and all of the trustees.
The election process is an important one. And I would like to thank Bob Morris for stepping up and showing his commitment to the Village of Bellport.
As I mentioned at the Meet the Candidates there is a lot of passion for the Village of Bellport which we all share. I encourage all residents to get involved – volunteer, attend Village meetings, share your ideas and join committees. For July and August, we will again be holding our Village Board meetings on Saturday morning to provide an opportunity for residents who can’t attend the meetings on the last Monday of each month during the year the chance to attend.
Lastly, regarding communication, we will continue to improve our new website and find ways to get information out to residents. The more we can delivery official Village communication, the more residents will understand the process and the choices that goes in to every decision that the Village’s Board makes.
Again, thank you, and I look forward to continuing to serve the residents of the Village of Bellport alongside the dedicated Deputy Mayor Joe Gagliano and Trustees Steve Mackin, Mike Ferrigno and Bob Rosenberg.
