On Thursday, June 25th, 2026, in front of a packed court room full of family, friends and fellow law enforcement officers, Captain Keith Williams was sworn in as the 7th Chief of Police at the Bellmawr Police Department.

Chief Williams has dedicated over 25 years of service to the residents of Bellmawr. He started his career as a dispatcher then rose through the ranks as a Class II Special Officer, Patrolman, Corporal, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain and now Chief of Police.

Chief Williams exemplifies all the qualities of a Chief, a leader and a mentor.

What a great way to wrap up the school year!

Today, Bellmawr Police Officers took part in the annual End-of-Year Kickball Game at Burke School, where the students, teachers and officers battled it out in a hard-fought matchup between the Kick’n Chickens and the Kick Hards.

After an exciting game filled with big kicks, close plays, and plenty of laughs, the Kick’n Chickens squeaked out an 8-7 victory over the Kick Hards!

Events like this are a great way to strengthen the positive relationships between our officers, students, teachers, and school staff. Thank you to Burke School for welcoming us and allowing us to be part of such a fun tradition.

Congratulations to Officers Tyler Whiteley and Victor McHale on graduating today from the Camden County Police Academy Class #93!

After months of rigorous training, dedication, and hard work, Officers Whiteley and McHale have successfully completed the academy and are beginning their careers in law enforcement. We are proud to welcome them to the Bellmawr Police Department family.

New Jersey’s Click It or Ticket mobilization will take place between May 18, 2026 and May 31, 2026, coinciding with NHTSA’s national campaign.

Seat belts are the single most effective tool drivers and passengers can use to protect themselves in a crash.

This campaign aims to increase seat belt compliance and encourages all occupants to reduce risk of injury or death by buckling up.

Buckle up – it’s the single most effective thing you can do to protect yourself in a crash.

Over the past several months, Mr. Christinzio has made significant contributions to our K9 Unit. Beyond his support of our department, he has also taken the time to give back to numerous other police and fire departments, demonstrating a true commitment to public safety.

Last April, officers across NJ ticketed nearly 7,000 drivers for cellphone use. This year, we’re joining the NJ Division of Highway Traffic Safety to increase distracted driving enforcement for the national campaign to prevent crashes and tragedies.
