I want to take a moment to sincerely thank every single person who supported me and my campaign for Whatcom County Prosecutor. Whether you donated, volunteered, put up a sign, shared a post, attended an event, offered an endorsement, or simply cast your vote for me, please know how much your support meant.

We came very close. Unfortunately, we did not make it through the primary, and while that was certainly disappointing, I remain incredibly grateful for the confidence so many people placed in me and for everything we accomplished together.

My commitment to Whatcom County and to seeing strong, experienced leadership in the Prosecutor’s Office has not changed. I remain fully invested in seeing the right person lead that office. Someone who understands the responsibility of the position, values victims, supports public safety, and has the experience and judgment necessary to do the job well.

For those reasons, I will be supporting Ryan Swinburnson as our next Whatcom County Prosecutor.

Thank you again to everyone who stood beside me. I will never forget your support, your encouragement, or the trust you placed in me.

As we head into Election Day, I want to take a moment to simply say thank you.

This campaign has been powered by people who believe Whatcom County deserves experienced leadership and a prosecutor’s office the community can trust. Whether you donated, volunteered your valuable time, displayed a sign, or offered words of encouragement, you helped make this campaign possible.

I am deeply grateful for every conversation and every act of support over these past several months.

Now we have one final job to do. Please take a few minutes to check in with your family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers. Make sure they’ve completed and returned their ballots. Elections are decided by those who participate, and EVERY single vote matters.

Thank you for believing in this campaign and for believing that positive change is possible. Together, let’s finish strong.

We had a great time yesterday competing in the Birch Bay Sand Sculpture Competition! It was a fun way to spend the day, connect with so many members of our community, and enjoy one of Birch Bay’s favorite traditions.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and offer words of encouragement. We’re grateful for your continued support and always enjoy opportunities like this to be out in the community.

It was a fantastic day at the beach! 🏖️🌊

Whatcom County, this is your moment.

Real change doesn’t happen by chance. It happens when people show up and make their voices heard.

If you believe in accountability, integrity, and leadership built on decades of experience, then make your vote count. We deserve a Prosecutor’s Office that puts victims first, earns the public’s trust, and delivers justice with fairness and compassion.

No matter who you support, please don’t sit this election out. Democracy works best when we all participate.

Thank you to the Whatcom Democrats for hosting such a wonderful family picnic at Hovander Park. It was a pleasure spending time with friends, meeting new people, and enjoying great conversations in such a beautiful setting.
Community events like these are a great reminder of the importance of connecting with one another, listening, and building relationships. I appreciate everyone who took the time to stop and visit, and I’m grateful to the volunteers who made the day possible.

Voting is your opportunity to choose who represents you, influence public policy, and help shape the future of our community.

In the 2025 Whatcom County primary election, only 31.48% of eligible voters cast a ballot. That means 68.52% missed the opportunity to have their voices heard.

I’m running for Whatcom County Prosecutor because this office has a direct impact on the safety and well-being of our community. Primary ballots drop July 15. Please don’t miss your opportunity to vote and help shape Whatcom County’s future.

We had such a fantastic time at the Blaine parade! It was great catching up with familiar faces, meeting new people, and hearing so much encouragement along the route.

Every conversation reminds us that our community wants experienced leadership and a prosecutor who will focus on public safety while using sound judgment. That’s exactly what Dona Bracke is committed to bringing to the Prosecutor’s Office.
