🇨🇦🍁 Curious About Canadian Citizenship by Descent? 🍁🇨🇦

Bellingham resident Ann Marie Genereux will share tips and tricks she has learned while researching Canada’s new citizenship-by-descent law for her family. She’ll be joined by Annette Smith, Vice President of the American-French Genealogical Society, and her cousin, John Dalpe.

Bellingham resident Ann Marie Genereux has been researching the new Canadian law on citizenship by descent for her family and has some tips and tricks about filing for citizenship. She will be joined by Annette Smith, the vice president of the American-French Genealogical Society in Woonsocket, and her cousin, John Dalpe. It is important to note that while this is a talk on citizenship, nobody presenting does this for a living and is only presenting because of their own personal interest in Canadian citizenship.

What a wonderful treat! We are so grateful to State Representative Mike Soter for treating everyone at the Bellingham Senior Center to a delicious lobster, chicken & chowder luncheon! 🦞🍗🥣

It was an afternoon filled with great food, wonderful conversation, and plenty of laughter! 😄❤️ There’s nothing better than gathering together, sharing a meal, and enjoying the company of friends.

🐘❤️ What a Wonderful Day in Boston! ❤️🐘

Yesterday, we headed to Boston with Rita McCarthy to experience The Great Elephant Migration! 🐘🌿

Everyone had a fantastic time, and the incredible elephant display was truly amazing to see! 🤩🐘 It was such a unique and memorable experience—and a wonderful day spent together! 💚

Tech Tuesday at the Bellingham Public Library!

Join Assistant Director Suzanne for "Tech Tuesday" small group technology instruction lessons. The meeting dates in September are the 15th and 29th from 4-5pm at the library.

On the 15th, we'll discuss e-mail--differences between providers, using it on your phone and desktop, and security concerns. On the 29th, we'll discuss social media and "information literacy." We'll also plan topics for October.

Spaces are limited, so you must register for a spot, and must register for each date you are interested.

Join us for a beautiful evening as we “light up” the Bellingham Town Common in love and remembrance of those we hold close in our hearts. ✨

Each luminary can be dedicated to someone special—whether they are currently ill or have passed. 🕊️❤️
