THANK YOU to everyone who came to the 2026 TRIVIA BEE at Aslan Depot last week!

It was a fun event, with 20 teams competing in a competition that included three general rounds, one book round, and a round with Whatcom County trivia.

Congratulations to the team Sweet Home Alabama Hill, made up of Thomas Stanley, Rob Coiner, and Chris Thralls - they will have their team name inscribed on the TOTTEN TROPHY and get to keep it until next year.

A huge thanks also to the staff at Aslan Depot for making it a "Pint Night", where $1 of every pint sold went to the Whatcom Literacy Council.

May Updates from the Whatcom Literacy Council -

Alina, a learner from Ukraine, demonstrates strong commitment to her English studies. She has independently learned six English songs using YouTube, incorporating music into her weekly practice routine. By regularly listening and singing, she strengthens her pronunciation and language skills.
