There are so many ways to show up for kids in foster care. 💛

Kacie Cleveland took an idea, using sponsorship dollars from her Driven Athletics Ski to Sea teams to support children and families through Skookum Kids, and turned it into real impact, raising more than $7,000 for kids who need community most. We are so incredibly grateful for her heart, creativity, and determination.

Kacie perfectly represents what Skookum Kids is all about: inviting whole communities into the work of foster care. Into the work of caring for our community’s children.

You do not have to do it one specific way. You just have to find your way.

Be like Kacie. Use what you love to help kids feel safe, seen, and supported.

A HUGE shoutout and good luck to the 8 Driven Athletics teams competing at Ski to Sea today. We are cheering you on! Go get it! 🌊

Sweet treats for an even sweeter cause: a huge thank you to the amazing 4th & 5th graders of for choosing Skookum Kids as the beneficiary of their Rice Krispie treat fundraiser! These kids turned marshmallows and cereal into over $1,000 for children and families affected by the foster care system and we think that’s pretty incredible.
Proof that little hands can make a BIG difference 🍬

Transportation is such an important part of supporting children and families—getting to doctor appointments, visits with family, trips to the park, library adventures, counseling appointments, and reunification services. Reliable transportation helps create stability, connection, and care when it matters most.
We truly couldn’t do this work without the incredible support of our community partners and donors. Thank you for helping us keep kids safe, connected, and cared for.
