Pick up sandbags today at Thompson Park. With heavy rain expected in the area, residents are encouraged to take precautions. Free sand and sandbags are available for public use in the north parking lot at Thompson Park (14001 S. Bellflower Blvd.).
Please remember to bring your own shovel to load your sandbags. Stay safe and dry, Bellflower.
