This program is part of Smart Start at the Library, LA County Library's collection of programs and services for early learners ages 0 - 5 and their caregivers.

Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Please register every individual in your party. This will be used to save your spots in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees.

Join us tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday May 6th, from 4-5 pm for Children's STEM Program: Bee Hotels.

Unlike honeybees that live in large hives, mason bees live alone and need places to shelter and lay their eggs. Become a friend to these helpful bees and learn to build a bee hotel for your garden. For ages 5 - 12 with caregiver.

Mason bees also pollinate more plants than honeybees do and are less likely to sting you! A hands-on STEM experience hosted by one of LA County's MākMō librarians.
