CONSTRUCTION ALERT: Lakemont Boulevard will be fully closed just south of I-90 for bridge resurfacing from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Sept. 14 and 15, the road will be open during the day. Follow the signed detour during the closure.

REMINDER: Avoid 120th Avenue NE north of NE Spring Boulevard tonight and tomorrow night between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. Crews will be doing resurfacing work. One lane in each direction will remain open, along with all driveways.

CONSTRUCTION ALERT: Three bridges in the Spring District will be resurfaced from Sept. 9-12, please avoid the area.

• 6 p.m.- 6 a.m. on Sept 9 and 10; 120th Avenue NE just north of NE Spring Boulevard will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
• 8 p.m. Sept 11 – 6 p.m. Sept. 12: NE 12th Street from NE Spring Boulevard to 124th Avenue NE.

Want to test new technology that alerts drivers when pedestrians are entering crosswalks? We're seeking local drivers to test a smartphone safety app that does just that.

The testing of the connected-vehicle app in October is part of a demonstration study aimed at reducing crosswalk crashes, which continue to be an issue locally and nationally. Details at bellevuewa.gov/city-news/crosswalk-safety-app
