Park and Ride lots filled up fast, especially the South Bellevue P&R, on Monday, the first World Cup match day. Tomorrow is the Juneteenth holiday, the 2nd World Cup match in Seattle, plus a Mariners game. Plan ahead to get to your destination on time:
1. Walk, bike or get dropped off at a transit hub.
2. Use a parking app to find available spots in downtown Bellevue and hop on the 2-Line at Downtown Station or East Main Station.

Before you launch your drone, check the airspace. Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) will be active around World Cup matches and fan festivals, including areas near Lumen Field (Seattle Stadium).

Flying in restricted airspace can lead to legal penalties. Know where you can fly before match day.

Bellevue’s lakes make summer unforgettable, but even on hot days the water stays cold enough to be dangerous. Cold shock and hypothermia can hit fast, and drowning can happen quietly even for strong swimmers.

The Bellevue Fire Department is asking everyone to keep safety in mind. Wear a properly fitted Coast Guard‑approved life jacket when you’re boating or paddling. Watch kids closely anytime they’re near the water. Keep an eye on the weather and skip alcohol when you’re on the lake.

Our waterfront is a community treasure. A few simple precautions help everyone enjoy summer and stay safe.
