Since Val Pennington decided to delete the real explanation of what happened regarding his wife here it is.

He wants to claim that she is "off limits" and was attacked. If you actually read her comments, it looks like she was doing some attacking of her own.

Molly Brown is obviously someone who chooses to be highly involved in local politics. Her husband is running for office. But more than that she is a huge supporter of Emily Marburger and even hosted Emily's meet and greet. While Val implies that she should be off limits because she's only his innocent wife, she's obviously much more involved than that.

Molly Brown CHOSE to engage in a conversation on Emily Marburger's public page. (A conversation which she later decided to delete). A conversation which became confusing to those involved because Molly had intentionally blocked them. Why did she engage in a conversation knowing full well that she had blocked several in the conversation so they couldn't see what she was saying? Val and Molly claim that people were asking for access to her private page which is just a lie. NO ONE asked for access to her page. They were just asking what she was saying on a public page because only some people could see the comments. She even went so far as to engage with Candidate Jodi Hause who couldn't even see the conversation because she too was blocked!!

Just go look at Val's page. Even though he claimed he would answer questions during "office hours", there are no questions and answers there!! Ask yourself why? He deleted every question he was ever asked even a simple question that asked what views he holds that make him progressive was deleted.

In Bellevue last night all that mattered was the D behind someone's name. That's dangerous especially in local elections. While it's sad that council has lost two great current members in Kendall and Coder, at the same time we have gained three awesome new and qualified members not affiliated with the BDC in Hause, Pritchard and Pikul. Disappointingly, Dituillio and Pennington were blindly supported and ran with virtually no platforms whatsoever. The new mayor Marburger also ran with very little platform and no real experience (unless you count chili-cookoffs). We truly hope that all these candidates really are good people who really do want a better Bellevue and will work together to make that happen.

According to county voting records, Anthony DiTullio for Bellevue Council, and Emily Marburger for Mayor of Bellevue, PA have never voted on a local election, but the want to claim they're involved in the community!
