Bellevue Police Citizens Advisory Council Meet between Bellevue Police and the local Residents The Police Citizens Advisory Council (PCAC) consists of civilian volunteers and assigned police officers.

The PCAC will promote an alliance of its citizens and the Bellevue Police Department through joint activities and the sharing of ideas. The PCAC was created as an independent and educational organization that promotes and supports community policing, crime prevention and education initiatives developed by BPD. There is an exchange of ideas and discussion of current issues and problems in the commu

nity, between officers and PCAC members, to help the PD better understand what the community expects from its police department as well as an understanding of what the police department is doing for the community. The PCAC meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Bellevue Police HQ's located at 1510 Wall Street. Bellevue Citizens are encouraged to attend these monthly meetings.

It can be difficult lining up a large number of people for a photo. When half of the the group consists of the Omaha Supernovas, its less challenging. Thanks to Coach Laura Kuhn and her team for jumping into the photo with our deputies! We had new applicant testing this morning and the Supernovas were good sports about sharing space!

Officers briefly shut down Eastbound Highway 370 just before 42nd St. for a high risk stop on a stolen vehicle. The roadway has since been reopened and one person is in custody.
