The Village would like to remind residents about the parking regulations for summer seasonal vehicles and trailers as outlined in the Village Zoning Code.
As of April 1st, residents are allowed to park summer seasonal vehicles and trailers—such as boats, jet skis, motor homes, and campers—either in their residential driveways or on a permitted hard surface located on the side of their homes.
Please note that no vehicle or trailer may be parked on grass, dirt, or gravel surfaces outside of the rear yard. Additionally, any vehicle parked in a driveway must not extend into the Village Right-of-Way, which generally refers to the area where a sidewalk exists or would typically be located.
As of May 1st, winter seasonal vehicles and trailers, such as snowmobiles, must be relocated to an enclosed structure or placed in the rear yard at least 5 feet from the property line.
A maximum of two trailers may be parked outside at any given time on a permitted lot throughout the year.
If you have any questions, please reach out to the Bellevue Community Development Department or refer to §500-1920 of the Bellevue Zoning Ordinance.
Thank you for your cooperation.

The Village of Bellevue and most of Brown County has seen a significant uptick in vehicle breakins and stolen vehicles.

Resident Reminder: Most vehicle burglaries occur when cars are left unlocked. Reduce your risk by following the HIDE, LOCK, TAKE approach: hide valuables out of sight, lock your vehicle, and take your keys with you.

Due to extreme weather conditions, the Village’s contracted trash and recycling provider will delay service by one (1) day for all residential routes. For example, routes normally completed on Monday will now be completed on Tuesday, Tuesday’s routes will move to Wednesday, and so on. Friday’s residential routes will be completed on Saturday this week, ensuring that no resident is left without service.

DECLARATION OF SNOW EMERGENCY.
This declaration will take effect at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2026, and will remain in effect until 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.

During Bellevue’s snow emergency period, the following restrictions apply:
1. No vehicles may park on any Village street until the snow emergency has expired.
2. Overnight on-street parking permissions will not be granted.
3. Vehicles found parked on streets during the snow emergency may be tagged, ticketed, and towed at the owner’s expense.

The Village’s contracted trash and recycling provider has notified staff that Monday collection will begin later than usual and may continue later into the day. Any properties that cannot be reached safely will be bypassed and serviced on the next regularly scheduled pickup day. Residents may place out extra bags on that day if their pickup is missed.

Please plan accordingly: on Monday, February 9, 2026, temporary barriers will be installed at the intersection of Landmark Blvd. and Costco Way, resulting in a full closure of this median.

HOW WILL THIS AFFECT YOU?
If you are turning onto Landmark Blvd. from Monroe, you will not be able to make a left turn onto Costco Way.
>> To access Costco, you will need to drive further down & turn into Costco’s parking lot.
>> To access businesses on Costco Way, you will need to continue straight on Monroe & turn onto Town Hall Road.

A permanent barrier is scheduled for installation in late fall 2026. For more information, visit: Current & Future Projects - Village of Bellevue

❄️Winter Parking Reminder❄️

Mother Nature has been sending us through a wild range of weather conditions recently and we are back to snow covered roadways. We wanted to send out another reminder of the winter parking ordinance (443-5).

Since November 1st, we have issued over 200 parking tickets and we want that number to be much lower. To those who have been keeping their vehicles off the roadway at night, thank you!

Lets keep the roads clear of vehicles at night so the street department can have an easier time clearing out the roadway, even when there isn't snow in the forecast.

We are blown away by the 1,750 bags donated on Friday from all three Pick n' Save/Metro Market locations. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported this endeavor—our hearts are truly full!

Just a friendly reminder: parking is not permitted on any Village street from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m., November 1 through April 1. This restriction helps our snowplow operators clear snow safely from the curb. Please be sure to use an off-street location for overnight parking. Enforcement of this ordinance is currently in effect.
