The Fire Lands Stamp Club meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month at The Post Mark Collector's Club Museum, 5001 State Route 4, Bellevue, OH (next to Lyme Village) Here is a list of upcoming meetings - Please join us if you are interested!

Feb. 5th “Trading Night” – Members bring their stamps & philatelic materials to sell and money to buy as well. We have 17 circuit books from the APS to pass around. Trading nights are the 3rd Wednesdays of every other month.

Feb. 19th – “Paper Night” – Dave will discuss the various kinds of paper used for stamps. He will bring in samples and ways to determine types of paper. We will all be learning new things on this subject, so please bring some examples and share your knowledge on this challenging topic.

March 5th – – “A Trip to the APS” – Dave will discuss past trips to Bellefonte, PA., home of the APS as well as many other non-philatelic things to do there. Also discuss a possible Fire Lands Stamp Club 2-day trip to Bellefonte in May or June.

March 19th - “Trading Night” – Members bring their stamps & philatelic materials to sell and money to buy as well. We will have new circuit books from the APS to pass around. Trading nights are the 3rd Wednesdays of every other month

The Fire Lands Stamp Club is celebrating a birthday!
We are one year old this month!

For our birthday, we wish to reach out to our community to start a new youth stamp club. This club would be focused specifically on 3rd – 6th grade youth. Below is some information about our stamp club goal!
WHAT: Youth Stamp Get Togethers would be unlike traditional stamp clubs. Adult collectors usually have a stamp album with images of stamps, and collect and mount stamps through purchase or trading with other stamp club members.
WHY: To capture the interest of 3rd – 6th grade youths attending stamp club get togethers, we have designed more games, art and challenges involving stamps. Diverting attention from social media and screen time will expand young minds and enable them to learn and grow socially, emotionally and educationally!
Our focus will initially be to expose youth to the artistic beauty and diverse images on stamps. Each stamp is like a miniature piece of art. The world is our palette and stamps will be our paint!
WHERE: Our youth stamp meetings would be held at the Postmark Museum next door to the Historic Lyme Village. The address is 5001 State Route 4, Bellevue, Ohio 44811.
As our youth stamp adventure is still in its planning stage, meeting dates and times have not yet been set. We would like to gather input from the parents prior to establishing dates, times and frequencies of meetings. (Note: A former elementary teacher is one of our founding members and will be involved in the youth meetings.)
We at the Fire Lands Stamp Club are excited to welcome kids into the fun, educational and very intriguing world of Stamp Collecting (also known as PHILATELY!) We look forward to serving the community and bringing a new spark into the lives of today’s youth!

1st official Fire Lands Stamp Club get together is now in the books! Lots of great stamp info. and ideas shared by all!

From cows to tag lights, watermarking to digital microscopes, fakes to extreme philately, so many topics await exploration!

The Club is set to take wings again in just two weeks. The next meeting will be on Wed. Seot. 20th at 6:00 p.m. at the Post Mark Museum, 5001 OH Route 4 in Bellevue. Come join us!
