He said a "few things" need to change with the department, including the addition of a drug dog and a restructuring of day shift staffing. Good evening all, if you are in Maquoketa and looking for a good place to eat. My daughter (Rebecca) and I went to the Copper Cardinal. Great food, we had wings and Pizza. Bellevue High School is sharing softball with Maquoketa this year so I been volunteering to drive the Bellevue kids over to Maquoketa for practice.

It’s in the books, DARE graduation class #33 is completed. We had 75 kids graduate this year from both schools in Bellevue. My daughter, Rebecca was our main speaker, she zoomed in her two brothers (Ronald and Robert). All three gave a great message to the class. This even surprised me. What a GREAT night. We had 6 students read their essays to all. This was one of the biggest crowds we had in the 33 years of DARE graduation. Even had to set up some chairs so people could sit. This could not happen without the cooperation between both schools and the City of Bellevue. Looking forward to DARE graduation class #34. Thanks for everyone’s support. Dennis (BUD) Schroeder

I hope everyone had a GREAT Sunday. Had my fundraiser last night. It was a huge success. I want to give a BIG shout out to my committee, Co-chairs: Jenna Kilburg & Mary Kilburg. My treasurer, Sara Davenport. My family and friends who helped out in any way. AND to all you, the citizens of Jackson County for ALL the support you have given me so far. Thanks for all the donations that were used on the live and silent auction. Thank you to all who brought in baked goods. Hello all, just finished up with my 12 week DARE (DrugAbuse Resistance Education) class which I taught the the 5th grade classes at both schools in Bellevue. Brought in some high school students to talk to my 5th grade classes. To give some advice about the do’s and done’s on what to expect from middle school to high school. Good morning everyone, we had a pretty busy day on Saturday, started out, volunteering at Cole Park clean up. Around 30 people came out to help. We hung around 60 business signs on the fences. I am in charge of talking to businesses about advertising, putting up and taking down theses signs. The money raised, goes towards the up keep of the fields.

Hello everyone in Jackson County, as you know I am running for Sheriff. I would love to have your support. I am having a fundraiser at the Horizon Hall in Bellevue on Saturday April 27. From 3:00 to 9:00ish. Serving roast beef with all the fixings from 4:00 to 7:00. Prepared by Downtown Pub in Preston. Cost is $15.00, we will have an auction, starting at 6:30. Come one come all.
