Although City offices will be closed tomorrow (Thursday) for Juneteenth, our staff will be out in the morning planting posies 🌻for our Native Planting Workshop.

From 11-1pm, the library will be hosting our Jr. and Camp Book Buddies Summer Reading programs for ages 6-13. 📖

The day will end with our *NEW* Pop-Up Plaza event with games, food and music from 4-9 pm. 🥙🧩🥤🏀🎼🎤♟️

All events are free to the public and family friendly!

Beginning the week of June 15, Flood Control District #9 will be conducting controlled maintenance work on the Broadford Levee. Work will occur along approximately 500 yards of levee extending north from the Lower Broadford Bridge.

The purpose of this work is to remove trees greater than 2 inches in diameter that have become established on the levee. Vegetation management is being conducted to reduce the risk of root-related damage and maintain the structural integrity of the levee.

Please be aware that equipment and crews will be present in the area during this time.

Exciting improvements are coming to Memorial Park! Thanks to a generous grant from the Blue Cross Foundation of Idaho, the basketball courts will be resurfaced, one court will be converted into two pickleball courts, fencing will be replaced, and additional park improvements are on the way.

Work is anticipated to begin Monday June 15th and last approximately 2–3 weeks, followed by an additional 1–2 weeks where the courts will remain closed to allow the new surface to properly cure.
