Today we celebrated one of our newest Illinois Army National Guard Soldiers with a signing day at Gibault High School! 🇺🇸

Even though this Warrior has already enlisted, we wanted to take a moment to recognize his commitment to serve and to share this milestone with his school, family, and community.

It’s always inspiring to see young leaders step up to serve both state and nation. Proud to be part of Mike Company and the Illinois National Guard as we welcome another dedicated Soldier to the Guard family! 💚💛

Today I had the incredible opportunity to speak at a Veterans Day program as a full-time Illinois Army National Guard Recruiter. 🇺🇸

I was blessed to share with students from Pre-K through 8th grade, as well as the veterans in attendance, about what it means to live by the values of a Soldier — loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage.

It was amazing to see how those same values connect deeply with what these young students are already learning in their walk as young Christians — standing firm in faith, serving others, and striving to do what’s right even when it’s hard.
Speaking to the next generation about purpose, service, and faith was a true privilege. I left feeling inspired and grateful to wear this uniform and represent the Guard, not just as a Soldier, but as a member of this community. 💚🙏

Did my thing and got my badge! Now I can get back to work and go strong for October! Made lots of friends that I will continue to keep up with definitely going to plan a couple trips in the near future❤️ missed my beautiful daughter but it’s all worth it in the long run! You can do anything you set your mind too🫶
