8th grade scholars presented a Wax Museum for their Social Studies final project. They selected a famous American who made important contributions to the American story, including athletes, actors, and activists. Students wrote an essay about their subject, created a poster to share their American’s accomplishments, and took on the role of people like trailblazing Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm, baseball player and fighter pilot Ted Williams, Detroit boxing legend Joe Louis, and comedy duo Laurel and Hardy. We’re proud of the work our 8th grade scholars put into this project, and wish them all the best as they move on to high school!
