Belleville Fireworks Celebration – Important Parking & Access Information

Belleville Fireworks
Date: July 3, 2026
Time: 6:00 pm (Fireworks begin approximately at 9:15pm)
Belleville Municipal Stadium, 100 Passaic Avenue, Belleville, NJ 07109

There will be NO public parking at Municipal Stadium on July 3. Parking at the stadium is reserved for Township officials, emergency personnel, and those being honored during the program.

Public parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis at:

Today, we celebrate two members of the Belleville Recreation family who have been honored by the Jersey City Puerto Rican Heritage Arts & Culture (JCPRHAC) for their outstanding service and leadership.

Congratulations to Detective Catherine Averhoff, named the 2026 Investigator of the Year, and Sergeant Israel Acevedo, named the 2026 Sergeant of the Year.
Whether serving their community through law enforcement or mentoring our athletes on the field, they embody dedication, integrity, and heart.

Today, the Township of Belleville came togetherβ€”Town Council, Police Department, Fire Department, Health Department, DPW, Office of Emergency Management (OEM), Board of Education, and Recreation Departmentβ€”to put the final touches on what we hope will be the best celebration yet. From safety and logistics to fun and family experiences, we’re working together to make sure our community has an unforgettable night.

We’ll continue posting updates on the Belleville Recreation page and the Township website so you’re aware of parking locations, traffic patterns, and important event information.

A few tips to help make the evening run smoothly:

✨ We highly recommend walking or using Uber. Designated Uber drop-off locations will be shared soon.
✨ Bring your own chairs and blankets and settle in for a night to remember.
✨ Come hungry! We’ve got plenty of delicious food vendors ready to serve up your favorites. πŸŒ­πŸ”πŸ¦
✨ We’ll also make sure your kids go home nice and tired after burning off all that energy in our bouncy houses
✨ Service animals are welcome, but please leave pets at home.
✨ No bicycles, motorized bikes, scooters, or similar devices will be permitted in the event area.
