🏅 Belleville Athlete of the Month: Monet Taylor🏅

The Belleville Recreation Department is proud to recognize Monet Taylor, as our Athlete of the Month!

Monet is not only an outstanding athlete but also an Honor Roll student, proving that hard work and dedication extend from the classroom to the competition field.

At the Track & Field League Championships, Monet earned:
🥉 3rd Place– 100m Dash (5th/6th Grade Girls) – 14.4 seconds
🥇 1st Place– Long Jump (5th/6th Grade Girls) – 13.7 feet
🥇 1st Place– 4x100 Relay (5th/6th Grade Girls) – 1:34

As if that wasn’t impressive enough, Monet also excels in gymnastics, earning a Top 10 finish in Region 7 of USA Gymnastics, competing against some of the best young athletes in the region.

Monet’s commitment, sportsmanship, and determination make her a true role model for Belleville’s youth. We can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next!

Congratulations to Coach Ace!

This weekend, Coach Ace accomplished something extraordinary by completing the Ironman in Hawaii—a true test of endurance, determination, and mental toughness.

When he’s not pushing himself to the limit, Coach Ace proudly serves our community as a Belleville Police Officer and helps inspire the next generation as one of our Track & Field coaches.

His dedication both on and off the course is a shining example of what it means to lead by example.

Just Jersey Food Truck Festival is pulling up to Belleville Municipal Stadium with food trucks, live music, games, pony rides, a petting zoo, beer garden, games, and good vibes all day long. Bring dad, bring the family, bring your appetite.

Show off your patriotic spirit, deck out your home in red, white & blue, and help us celebrate 250 years of America in style. The committee will be driving around town looking for the best decorated homes… so don’t hold back.

Belleville, let’s celebrate America’s 250th Birthday in style! Decorate your home in red, white & blue for a chance to win the ultimate BBQ package sponsored by Rinaldi’s located on 313 Union Avenue, Belleville, NJ

The grand prize winner receives:
• 5 lbs Hamburgers

This Memorial Day, our community came together in unity and gratitude. Father Ivan led a beautiful prayer honoring our veterans, with all of our local chapters standing proudly beside them. A powerful moment of reflection, respect, and togetherness for our community. 🇺🇸
