Please join Mayor Frank Vélez, the Township Council, Belleville Police & Fire Departments, and the Department of Recreation & Cultural Affairs as we come together to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of September 11th.

We honor the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and all those forever impacted by that day.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS FROM “BELTLEY” 🚨

We’ve gotten the emails and messages about the recent posts and jokes about “Beltley”, the mysterious town located somewhere between Belleville and Nutley that apparently needs its own mayor, government, and maintenance department.

Well, we’re here to clear up the confusion:

📍 Beltley is actually Belleville, NJ.
👔 The Mayor is already Frank Velez III.
🏛️ And that property is already owned by the Township of Belleville.

So, technically, Beltley already has a mayor, municipal government, and ownership. Some may have just discovered this “new” neighborhood! 😂

As for the location, the Recreation Department already has plans for improvements to that area. So there is a plan in place, even if Beltley residents haven't received their official welcome packets yet. 😉

That said, we’re always open to community partnerships. If our friends at Cozz Coffee or Michael’s Roscommon would like to allocate some of their resources toward helping beautify the area, we’d be more than happy to put those resources to good use! ☕🍀

In the meantime, we’ll continue working on Beltley….one budgeted improvement at a time.

BELLEVILLE, WE’RE COMING BACK STRONGER THAN EVER!

We’re celebrating America’s 250th AND making up for our July 3rd fireworks with one BIG night on the lawn at Belleville High School!

Thursday, August 27th, 6pm, Belleville High School, 100 Passaic Avenue, Belleville, NJ 07109

Fireworks display at approximately 9:15 pm

IMPORTANT: Everything is happening ON THE LAWN — the Municipal Stadium and bleachers will NOT be open. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and come prepared to enjoy the night!

Come dressed in your Red, White & Blue!!!

Parking is limited. Additional parking will be available at School #7, 20 Passaic Ave., plus street parking. We strongly recommend walking, Ubering or carpooling.

Come one, come all — Belleville, we’ve got some making up to do!

And just like that… Belleville Summer Camp 2026 is a wrap! ☀️💙

But what a summer it was! Our campers didn’t just come to camp — they had a whole EXPERIENCE! From daily sports and outdoor fun, to the Belleville Fire Department turning the day into one GIANT sprinkler 💦🚒, trips to the zoo, Liberty Science Center, FIFA right in our own backyard ⚽️, arts & crafts, face painting, Medieval Times 🏰 and plenty of good old-fashioned summer fun… we kept these kids BUSY!

There were laughs, new friendships, adventures and memories made every single day. This is what summer camp is supposed to feel like. ❤️

A huge thank you to our Director, Dr. Leonard Averhoff, and our incredible team of counselors and staff who showed up every day ready to make it FUN. It takes a village to create a summer like this, and ours knocked it out of the park!

Summer Camp 2026… you were one for the books! ☀️🙌🏽
