We planted another raspberry bush by our well established, bountiful raspberry bush. Hopefully, we get even more delicious raspberries this year!

We love it when our former students come back to visit with us! Kayla is getting the job done at the University of Louisville! We know that once she is done with college she will make an even bigger positive impact on our world. Kayla and Mrs. Brown got the chance to catch up and look at past trophies. Congratulations to 5th Grade Educator Stacey Geluck for being selected to serve on the Illinois State Board of Education Science Content Review Committee. The Science Content Review Committee is an eight-day meeting that discusses content that should be included on future summative assessments for Illinois administered at Grades 5 and 8. Committee members are given training on how content is selected for the Illinois Science Assessment (ISA), as well as the specifications to which they should conform. The goal of the committee is to ensure that the ISA content is of the highest quality and adheres to all the specifications determined by the Illinois State Board of Education.

Thank you to Mrs. Korak for making our band program exceptional! We are grateful for Mrs. Korak's years of service. Congratulations to Mr. Max DiPasquale for serving as our next Band Director. We are looking forward to his years of service at Whiteside Middle School. In addition, Mr. DiPasquale is a Whiteside graduate who was taught by Mrs. Korak. Once a Warrior, always a Warrior.
