Today, Officers Martinez and Perez of the Belleville Police Department’s Silver Lake Community Care Initiative stopped by School 4 for their annual Fun Day celebration! From handing out snacks and signing shirts to joining the students on the playground swings, the officers had an amazing time connecting with the kids and staff.

Events like these are what community policing is all about — building positive relationships, creating memories, and showing our youth that we are always here for them. Thank you to School 4 for having us and helping make the day such a great success!

What an incredible day at our 6th Annual BPD Community Bike Ride! 🚴☀️

We were blessed with amazing weather, a fantastic turnout, and so many smiling faces throughout the ride. It was great seeing families, kids, and members of our community come together for a fun, safe, and positive event. Everyone had an absolute blast!

Events like this are what community policing is all about — building relationships, creating memories, and bringing our community together outside of emergency situations.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, donated, helped organize, and supported this event in any way. Special thanks to our officers, community partners, and all those behind the scenes who helped make today such a success. We truly couldn’t do it without you.

Thank you, Belleville, for continuing to show up and support these community events year after year. We’re already looking forward to next year’s ride! 🚴‍♂️💙

While working a detail on his motorcycle earlier today, Officer Danise came across a group of kids out on a walk and took a few minutes to stop, say hello, and chat with them.

Sometimes the smallest interactions can leave the biggest impression. We’re always proud to see our officers taking the time to connect with the community — especially with our youngest residents! 👮‍♂️💙

The Belleville Police Department is focusing on making sure everyone is buckled up this May. One unbuckled passenger not only increases their own risk of serious injury, but also the risk for everyone in the vehicle.
