🍕 Celebrating Our 2026 Clean Communities Kids! 🌳🧹

Today, we held our end-of-year 2026 Clean Communities Program Pizza Party, and I want to take a moment to recognize and thank all of the incredible kids who participated this year!

Every one of you worked extremely hard. You came out day after day, braved the heat and the rain, painted fire hydrants, cleaned up our streets, helped maintain our parks, and took pride in making our community a better place. Your dedication and hard work did not go unnoticed.

Programs like this are so important because they give our younger generation an opportunity to experience the workforce, learn about different career opportunities, develop responsibility, and understand the importance of teamwork and giving back to their community.

I commend every one of you for your hard work and dedication, and I look forward to seeing you all again next year! 👏👏

I also want to give a special thank you to Mayor Velez, Councilwoman Michelle Rodriguez, and Councilwoman Diane Guardabasco for coming out and celebrating our pizza party with the Clean Communities kids. It truly meant a lot to have you spend time with them, recognize their efforts, and show your support for the program.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make this program a success. I am extremely proud of these kids and everything they accomplished this year! 💪🌎

Thank You to Our Community Leaders! 🇺🇸🦺

I want to take a moment to sincerely thank Mayor Vélez, Councilwoman Michele Rodriguez, Councilwoman Diane Guardabasco, and Councilwomen Tracy Muldrow for coming out and working alongside the Belleville Public Works Department to help fill potholes.

Everyone did an awesome job! 👏

This was an excellent opportunity for them to get out in the field, see firsthand how the job is done, and gain a better understanding of the hard work our Public Works employees do every day to keep our community safe and maintained.

I truly appreciate your support and willingness to get your hands dirty and work alongside our team. Partnerships like this make a difference!

Belleville Public Works — Working Together for Belleville!

This afternoon, the Belleville Office of Emergency Management met to review preparations for the storms expected later today and tonight.

Heavy rainfall is expected, with 1–3 inches possible across the area and isolated locations potentially receiving 4–7 inches, which could lead to flash flooding, flooded roadways, and localized property damage.

Our Office of Emergency Management, Police, Fire, DPW, EMS, and all Township departments are closely monitoring conditions and stand ready to respond if needed.

We encourage residents to stay weather-aware, avoid driving through flooded roadways, and limit unnecessary travel during periods of heavy rain. We will continue to provide updates as conditions change.
