🌿 A delightful seasonal meal is Elderflower pancakes. I served these with the last of the elderberry syrup that I made last year.

🥞 To make elderflower pancakes, simply make your favorite pancake recipe and press some elderflowers into each pancake when frying it. Adding a little cardamom to the batter is really nice.

🐈‍⬛ Some of the sanctuary cats coming for breakfast this morning… if you would like to help support us in caring for the many strays who end up on our doorstep, please find us on Patreon. Most of the local shelters are completely full.

🦜 Amazingly we have an incredible variety of birds on the property despite all the cats.

🐈 But we don’t have a problem with mice anymore and no one is complaining about that!

The nasturtiums look like jewels adorning the garden. They are a wonderful edible flower too, making your salads look like they are fit for royalty.
