Love this giving community!

Because of the generosity of residents, businesses, and community partners, 250 students at Belleview Elementary School and Belleview Santos Elementary School will begin the school year with backpacks filled with the supplies they need to succeed through the annual Gregg Smith Automotive Backpack Drive.

The City of Belleview was proud to support this effort during the America250 Independence Day Fireworks Celebration. Working with Premier Inflatables LLC, proceeds from the mechanical bull, rock climbing wall and gem bags raised $500 in less than four hours to help purchase school supplies for local students.

Thank you to Gregg Smith Automotive, Premier Inflatables, Papa Johns of Belleview, Meldon Law, Roaring Rinse Power Washing, BCS Insulations, and the many residents, businesses, and organizations whose generosity made this year's backpack drive such a success.

Every backpack represents a child who will walk into the classroom on the first day of school with the tools needed to learn and the support of a community that cares.
