♻️ FREE Tire Collection Event - Registration is Now Open ♻️

The Centre County Recycling and Refuse Authority will be holding a FREE Tire Collection Event for Centre County residents!

🗓 Saturday, September 12
⏰ 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Before registering, please review the following important information:

✅ Accepted Tires:
• Car and light truck tires
• Motorcycle tires
• ATV tires
• Bike tires
• Tires must be 43 inches or smaller in diameter

🚫 NOT Accepted:
• Shredded tires
• Tires filled with mud or debris
• Commercial or municipal loads

📌 Additional Details:
• Limit of 12 tires per appointment
• Registration is required
• Register at www.ccrra.org

The 2025 Annual Water Quality Report has been prepared to provide Bellefonte Borough water customers with important information about their drinking water quality. This report includes a table summarizing the water testing results for the 2025 calendar year. A paper copy of the 2025 Water Quality Report may be requested by contacting the borough office at (814)355-1501 Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.

The Centre County Metropolitan Planning Organization (CCMPO) invites the public to review and comment on the draft Benner Pike (PA 150) Land Inventory and Corridor Study during a 30-day public review and comment period from:
Monday April 13 through Wednesday May 13, 2026.

You can submit your comments online here: https://www.crcog.net/transportationstudies

As part of the comment period, the CCMPO will host public open house sessions to share the draft recommendations and gather feedback directly from residents, businesses, and other stakeholders. The public input will help to refine the study before final adoption by the CCMPO.

A reminder to all property owners that the 2% discount deadline for real estate taxes is Thursday, April 30, 2026.

To receive the discount, payments must be postmarked by April 30, 2026, or made in person during office hours / placed in the drop box.

The discounted amount due can be found directly on your tax bill — it is highlighted in yellow (see example below).
