🔔 Important update for patients visiting Mount Nittany Medical Center 🔔

Starting Monday, Sept. 14, College Township will begin street resurfacing on Hospital Drive. This project is aimed at improving the road conditions for the community’s benefit.

Paving and line striping projects are also set to begin around the medical center campus, including Hospital Drive.

While construction may cause minor disruptions, access to the Emergency Department and other services will remain fully available.

Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the families, friends, and communities forever changed by that day.

We honor the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS providers, and countless others who ran toward danger to help those in need during this unimaginable tragedy. We also remember the 9-1-1 dispatchers and emergency communications professionals who answered the calls, gathered critical information, and sent help where it was needed.

Twenty-five years later, we remember their courage, their sacrifice, and the importance of never forgetting.

**Attention 322 travelers in the Centre Hall and Boalsburg areas**

Use caution in the area of the 2300 block of Boal Avenue. There is a temporary lane closure due to an incident. Expect delays and be alert as responders are in the area. It is unknown when this section of 322 will be fully open to traffic. If you travel this route, you will want to plan for additional time or take a detour.

We’re hearing from residents that the recent flooding has unfortunately left some appliances damaged and unusable.

If you have flood-damaged appliances or other scrap metal that you need to dispose of, CCRRA accepts scrap metal and appliances FREE OF CHARGE!

♻Accepted items include refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, water heaters and more.

One important reminder: If you’re bringing in a refrigerator or freezer, please make sure it is completely emptied before bringing it to CCRRA.
