🌴🔅 Summer Kickoff Kickback Night 🔅🌴

We had a great time at our summer-themed Kickback Night last night! We had a water fight and drew our favorite animals with sidewalk chalk. If you're walking down Court Street, go check out the chalk art in the parking lot next to our building.

Save the date - our next Kickback Night, "Ice Cream Social," is on June 25th at 6pm. We will be making ice cream and topping it off with delicious treats!

💙Happy Mental Health Awareness Month💙

The teen years are full of self-discovery, big feelings, and personal growth. One of the biggest needs we see in our youth is mental health; youth often need additional support and tools to help navigate adolescence and improve their mental health.

This summer, Community Health & Wellness Partners is offering group therapy for youth! They meet once a week for 6-8 weeks at their Bellefontaine or Urbana offices or virtually. They have different topics, such as self-esteem for girls, transition to adulthood, and more. To participate, the youth needs to be a Logan or Champaign county student and be a current patient or make an initial appointment to become a patient at Community Health & Wellness Partners.

🎮 The Reach/Bio Esports Recap 🎮

We had a BLAST at Bio Esports yesterday! The kids enjoyed an hour of free video gaming on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. Roblox and Fortnite were the crowd favorites. We're already planning on doing this again - stay tuned for the next one! Thank you to Bio Esports for having us 😁

We are so excited to share that we were recently awarded a grant from the Students of United Way of Logan County, Ohio, to build up our resources and facilities for youth to be able to do laundry and take showers if they need it. Meeting basic needs is foundational for supporting mental health 💙
