🌿 A New Season Is Almost Here! 🌿

The Belleair Garden Club’s new season is just around the corner, and it’s a great time to get involved!

Joining a committee is one of the best ways to meet other members, share your talents and interests, and be part of everything happening at the club. Whether you have a little time to give or would like to become more involved, there’s a place for you.

We also have several events coming up in October, and helpers are needed! From welcoming guests and helping with refreshments to lending a hand with setup and activities, there are plenty of ways to participate.

EDIT- Read the comments below for an alternative to the cooking oil.

Did you know? Spray cooking oil in bromeliad centers. Pour mineral oil in plant saucers. Change bird bath and ground water containers ever 3 days. Clean out gutters - mosquitoes can lay eggs in curled up leaves.

🎄 VENDOR APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN TO ALL! 🎄

We gave our May Day Market vendors the first opportunity to apply, and many have already signed up to join us again. Now we’re opening applications to everyone!

Join us for the Holiday Harvest Market in the Bluffs on Saturday, November 21, from 10 AM–2 PM in beautiful Belleair Bluffs.

We’re looking for a great mix of local artisans, handmade and handcrafted goods, Florida native plants and garden-related products, botanical and nature-inspired items, seasonal finds, and select specialty foods.

Our market is carefully curated to offer shoppers a wonderful variety, and some vendor categories are already filled. Space is limited in remaining categories, so apply early!

Apparently my backyard has decided to grow its own patio umbrellas. 🍄😂

These mushrooms are HUMONGOUS! I put a golf ball next to one just to show the size — and somehow that makes it look even more ridiculous.

I’m not sure whether to remove them or set up tiny chairs underneath them. 😂🍄

🌿 Thinking about adding more Florida native plants to your garden?

Florida native plants can bring so much to the landscape — beautiful color and texture while providing valuable food and habitat for butterflies, bees, birds, and other wildlife.

As we look forward to our fall season, we’ll be sharing more ideas and opportunities to learn about gardening with Florida natives — including our October program, Native Plants Made Easy, presented by Wilcox Nursery.
