🎒 Our School Supply Drive Is Underway!

The collection box is in place, and we’re ready to start filling it with school supplies for local foster children served by Family Support Services of Pinellas and Pasco Counties.

In addition to backpacks (no business logos, please), lunchboxes, pencils, glue sticks, scissors, crayons, and hand sanitizer, additional needed items include:

📚 Composition notebooks and spiral notebooks
📁 Pocket folders and binders
✏️ Colored pencils, pens, highlighters, and pencil sharpeners
📄 Loose-leaf paper and index cards
📏 Rulers, erasers, notebook dividers, and pencil boxes
🎧 Earbuds or headphones

Donations will be accepted through July 24.

Every backpack, notebook, folder, and box of crayons helps a child begin the school year feeling prepared, supported, and ready to learn.

Those wishing to contribute may bring donations to Belleair Garden Club events and activities or contact us to arrange a donation or pickup.

🎒 A backpack may seem like a small thing, but for a child entering a new school year, it can mean confidence, belonging, and a fresh start.

The Belleair Garden Club is collecting school supplies to support children in foster care and preventive programs through Family Support Services.

Donations will be collected now through July 24 and will help local students in grades K–12 begin the school year with the tools they need to succeed.

Needed items include backpacks (no business logos, please), notebooks, folders, pencils, pens, crayons, colored pencils, glue sticks, scissors, earbuds, and other essential school supplies for students of all ages.

Every notebook, pencil, and backpack tells a child that their community cares. Together, we can help students walk into their classrooms feeling prepared, supported, and ready to learn.❤️

Donations may be dropped off at the Belleair Garden Club clubhouse during scheduled club activities and events through July 24. If you’re unable to drop off your donation during an event, please send us a message and we’ll be happy to arrange a convenient pickup or drop-off time.

🇺🇸🐦 Create a Patriotic Birdhouse for Your Garden! 🐦🇺🇸

🌟Join the Belleair Garden Club on Wednesday, July 1, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. for a fun and creative evening of painting, learning, and community.

🌟You’ll paint and personalize your own wooden birdhouse while learning how birdhouses can be incorporated into wildlife-friendly gardens and outdoor spaces..

🌟We’ll also discuss how birdhouses can be incorporated into wildlife-friendly gardens and outdoor spaces, providing shelter for birds while adding beauty and interest to the landscape.

✨ Light refreshments provided
✨ No painting experience necessary
✨ Patriotic photo opportunity

As National Garden Week comes to a close, I took a stroll through the neighborhood and couldn’t resist snapping a few photos of the beautiful blooms putting on a show this time of year. 🌺🌼🌸

One of the joys of gardening is that inspiration is everywhere—including right in our own neighborhoods!
