Zayteck Marin is a Belle Glade City Commissioner

Born and raised in the Glades, Zayteck Marin loves her city, which she’s proud to call home. She is a former employee of the City of Belle Glade, where she worked for a few years and held various positions in different departments. This allowed Zayteck to gain a great amount of insight and experience in government policies, procedures, and overall

administration. She has had a taste of both the citizen and the executive administration side. She understands both points of view, which has allowed her to advocate for her community effectively. Zayteck has a strong motivation and desire to continue moving her city forward. She understands that the city and the citizens of Belle Glade face many challenges and concerns that must be addressed. Still, with her willingness, hard work, and dedication, Zayteck knows she can be the voice the citizens of Belle Glade need to provide the best health and overall quality of life.

πŸŽ‰ And that’s a wrap! πŸŽ‰

It is a profound moment for me as I conclude nearly a decade of dedicated service to the city of Belle Glade. I started my journey as Deputy City Clerk, transitioned to Executive Secretary in the City Manager's office, served as a Commissioner, and ultimately concluded my career as Assistant to the City Manager.

To think I am retiring at just 29 is surreal. It has truly been an honor to work alongside such remarkable leaders and colleagues, and I am proud of the significant impact we have made on our community.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional leaders and colleagues who have supported me throughout this journey. I have full confidence that the new management will continue to foster positive change within our community. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported me along this journey, whether through guidance, encouragement, or friendship. ❀️ To my wonderful husband who supported me through all these years, thank you ❀️ Randy Marin-Mora

As I embark on this next chapter, I am filled with excitement and gratitude for what lies ahead.

🏚️🚧 Have you ever wondered what a transformed community looks like? 🌟

In the heart of Belle Glade, we're witnessing change! Two blighted properties, once deemed hazardous, have been demolished: the first at CRA 141 NW 2nd Street and the second at 642 SE 6th Drive. This is a significant step forward in revitalizing our city and making it a safer place for all residents. Together, we’re turning the tide on neglect and embracing a brighter future! 🌼πŸ’ͺ
