June is Men's Health Awareness Month 💙
When we talk about men's health, it's important to talk about mental health too.
Many men face stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and other mental health challenges, yet too often they feel pressure to stay silent or "tough it out." The truth is that seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness.
This month, take time to check in with yourself and the men in your life. A simple conversation, a listening ear, or reaching out for professional support can make a meaningful difference.
✔️ Talk about your feelings
✔️ Prioritize rest and self-care
✔️ Stay connected with family and friends
✔️ Seek help when you need it
Here at Plaquemines Community CARE Centers Foundation (PCCCF), we believe that mental wellness is an essential part of overall health. Together, we can help break the stigma surrounding men's mental health and encourage a culture of support, understanding, and resilience.
