Belle Chasse High School is proud to announce that Divinity Jones has been named a 2027 National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist!

This prestigious recognition places Divinity among less than 1% of students nationwide who took the PSAT. She will now have the opportunity to advance in the competition for National Merit Scholarships this spring.

We are incredibly proud of Divinity and this outstanding achievement!

A new chapter for education and workforce development in Plaquemines Parish is officially underway!

We proudly celebrated the opening of the new Nunez Community College facility in Belle Chasse. This partnership between Nunez Community College and the Plaquemines Parish School Board will give our students access to hands-on training in welding and electrical work. This will help them develop industry-leading skills and prepare for rewarding careers. The best part? It is all close to home.

Thank you to everyone who helped turn this vision into a reality. Together, we are investing in our community, expanding opportunities for our students, and building a brighter future for Plaquemines Parish.💙
