Today, we had 10 on the crew and here is what was accomplished around the Eckhardt Rd trailhead: Long grass was brush mowed, A boot brush was repaired, An old pile of tree trimmings was cleaned up, A lot weeds were whacked and Everyone had fun in the sun.

Wow, just wow. What a great community we live in. Here are the "before" and "after" photos of a mess we created at the Vandermark trailhead. Before are the leftover trees and brush that were left behind when we completed our trailhead parking expansion. After is the result of the generosity of one of our friends Legend Tree Services LLC. Thank you Rick and Rickie and crew for your gift cleaning up the trailhead.

Glacial Hills will be hosting two community garlic mustard pulls: Tuesday May 26 at 6pm and Saturday May 30 at 9am. Meet at the Vandermark trailhead. Come join us to pull garlic mustard and learn more about this invasive plant.

We are pleased to report that Fresh Drinking Water is now available at both the Eckhardt Rd and Vandermark Rd trailheads.

Note: water bottles highly recommended.

There were 50 people at our Annual Spring Trail Day cleanup yesterday. Signs were fixed and installed, trees were cleared, trails were patrolled, 54 pounds of garlic mustard was extracted, the trailheads were cleaned up and everyone had a blast! We love our volunteers!
