Congress is considering bills allowing trucks to exceed 80,000 pounds. That would further damage California’s aging bridges and congested roads.

About Me

Hello Community,

My name is Jorgel Chavez and I am a resident of the beautiful city of Bell Gardens. I have resided in this city for the majority of my existence and remain active within our community.

I attend all council meetings and majority of the community events with the intention to share what is going on with the rest of our community. If I am not attending events around the city I am probably in class as I am an undergraduate/graduate student student attending the University of Southern California. I am a Master of Public Administration candidate and majoring in Political Science for my Bachelor’s of Arts. I transferred to USC in Fall of 2018 from Long Beach City College where I earned my 2 Associate Degrees in Political Science and Communication Studies. The knowledge and drive that LBCC taught me is what continues pushing me at USC.

Ultimately, I will keep this page up to date with vital information that is occurring daily and weekly. I thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope I my page was of service to you.
