High pressure will continue to provide dry and seasonably warm conditions through Saturday. Scattered rain chances will return for the second half of the weekend and into next week.

Tomorrow we will be mailing out our 2026 Residential Fire Dues flyer for the homeowners that live in our coverage area, if you rent please give the flyer to the homeowner. The dues that we receive covers the operating cost for 4 stations, fuel for the trucks, utilities, gear for the firefighters, repair for the trucks and equipment. This allows us to maintain our ISO Class 5 rating that lowers the homeowner's insurance rates. Just a reminder we have posted no parking signs at Hardy Station 3 they put Sunday afternoon @ and again tonight we had people blocking the Bay Door and had to find the owners to get vehicles moved to get the truck out of there from this point forward if anyone is parked in front of the door and in the no parking zone your vehicle will be towed off at owners expense. Thank you

There will be a slight chance of a shower or two in far eastern Kentucky this afternoon. Otherwise, sunny weather is expected through the end of the workweek as high pressure sets in. Temperatures will be a bit warmer each day.
