Your Belfast Free Library is working hard to serve the public during the temporary closure.

Tuesday, September 15 at 10:00am, ages 3-6 and families.

Due to our temporary closure for repairs, the Belfast Free Library will conduct Preschool Storytime in the fenced outdoor play area of the Unitarian Universalist Church in Belfast. Right next to the library!

This is the only program outdoors during the closure and it looks like beautiful weather. Come and play with literature!

Wiggle and Rhyme for babies and toddlers held in the Belfast UU Church on Monday, September 14 at 10:00am.

The "Teen Writing Table" Thursday, September 10, 4:00-5:00pm in the Conference Room.

"Poet Judy Kaber Book Launch" Thursday, September 10, 6:00-7:30pm Abbott Room

The library building will be closed to the public for construction work on the front entry and plaza between September 14th and September 25th. We will be offering curbside services during this period.

Join Belfast Free Library's Youth Services at Belfast City Park for
Early Literacy joy, birth through age 6.

Starting at 10:00 am at Belfast City Park, we will be located in the field across from the bridge to the playground.
Songs, puppets, books, parachute play and bubbles will be enjoyed.

Storytime on Friday, 8/28 will be in the Abbott Room due to rain showers.

Join us at 9:30am today on the plaza in front of the library for some commemorative opening remarks before the Declaration exhibit opens at 10am! If you weren't able to snag tickets, walk-in registrations are welcomed on a first-come-first-served basis as visitor flow allows. The exhibit will be open from 10am to 5pm today and then 10am to 4pm tomorrow. Join us!
