From the Town of Belchertown:
Please be advised that due to the weather the Memorial Day parade for Monday morning has been canceled.
The 8:30 AM ceremony honoring those who gave their lives for our nation and way of life will still be held at South Cemetery, 143 Mill Valley Road.
The ceremony that typically follows the parade will be held indoors at 10:30 AM at the Belchertown United Church Of Christ, 20 Park Street.

📅 Sunday, May 24 — Quabbin Park Cemetery Ceremony, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Annual Memorial Day Commemoration at Quabbin Park Cemetery, 557 Belchertown Rd, Ware. Featuring the Belchertown Community Band and a special focus on the 250th anniversary of the Revolutionary War. Refreshments at 10:00 AM; march step-off at 11:00 AM. No dogs permitted.
📅 Monday, May 25 — South Cemetery Memorial Day Event, 8:30–9:00 AM
A ceremony honoring those who gave their lives for our nation, at South Cemetery, 143 Mill Valley Rd.
📅 UPDATED: Monday, May 25 — Memorial Day Ceremony, 10:30
Due to the weather the parade has been canceled. The Memorial Day Ceremony will be held indoors at the Belchertown United Church of Christ, 20 Park Street.
🏛️ Closures
📅 Saturday, May 23 — Recreation Department offices are closed.
📅 Monday, May 25 — All Town offices and departments are closed, including Clapp Memorial Library and the Chestnut Hill Community School Pool. There are no Monday events at the Senior Center.
📅 Tuesday, May 26 — The Transfer Station is closed in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.
