Reminder - The Town Beach is currently only open on the weekends (10:30 AM to 7:00 PM).

Good Morning, as part of a comprehensive Management Program Lake Holland and Lake Arcadia will be treated with aquatic herbicides Sonar (fluridone) to control non-native and invasive fanwort and milfoil. The treatment will be conducted Wednesday, June 10th. The lake will be closed to all water uses (including boating, fishing, and swimming) for a 24 hour period following the treatment. Applicable water use restrictions will be posted with signs around the shoreline prior to application.

There will also be a survey conducted on Lake Metacomet along with spot treatment if necessary for non-native and invasive fanwort and milfoil. Recreation should be for everyone — and we mean everyone.

The Town of Belchertown is conducting an ADA Self-Evaluation to identify barriers in our public spaces, programs, and services — including recreational facilities and programs. If you've ever found it difficult to participate in a Town program or access a recreational space, we want to hear from you.
