On the final day of camp, the Highsteppers wrapped up another amazing day filled with performances, friendships, and unforgettable memories. Today we finished our “Party in the USA: Dancing Across America” week with Patriotic Pajama Day! The ladies wore their comfy red, white, and blue pajamas as we celebrated a fantastic week of dancing, fun, and American spirit. The Highsteppers worked hard ion skills, techniques, team building, and learning 4 field routines for the 2026/2027 school year! They also had Big sis Lil sis reveal.

Before heading into their summer break, the Highsteppers are at summer camp.

On day 1 of “Party in the USA: Dancing Across America” dance camp, our Highsteppers kicked off the week by learning new routines, building team spirit, and bringing lots of energy to the floor! It was Red, White & Blue Day, so the Highsteppers showed off their patriotic colors as they danced their way across America.

Wednesday - Our Highsteppers traveled “across America” through fun choreography, team games, and lots of laughs during dance camp day two! It was Stars & Stripes Day, so the Highsteppers wore their favorite stars, stripes, and patriotic gear as they kept the celebration going. We’re loving the spirit, smiles, and teamwork everyone has brought to camp this week!

Day 3 Today at dance camp, the Highsteppers continue to work hard on routines while showing dedication, leadership, and teamwork — just like the qualities we honor today on Military Appreciation Day. We dressed in camouflage or patriotic colors as we recognize and thank all military members and families for their service and sacrifice. We are proud of the effort and spirit the Highsteppers have shown all week long during “Party in the USA: Dancing Across America!”

Friday the Highsteppers will show off everything they have learned at camp at 12:30 at the NCEMS gym. A huge thanks to Mr. Nicolas Cunningham and North Caddo Elementary Middle School for allowing us to use their gym for camp while Herndon is closed for asbestos abatement.

The Herndon Hawks Uniform Donation Drop-Off is now set up at the front entrance of Herndon Magnet School for any gently used uniforms, spirit wear, and approved school attire.
