The Harford County Commission for Women had their June meeting last night. We were happy to have 4 guests attend, Alexandria Blackwell, Corin & Kathleen Moss and Arani Raguaraj. Thanks for coming out and seeing what the commission is all about. We'll be off for the summer and will reconvene in the fall on Monday, September 28, 2026 at 6:45 p.m. at McFaul Activity Center, 525 W. MacPhail Road, Bel Air. Our meetings are open to the public, feel free to join us!

Our commissioners met for "Coffee with the Commissioners" yesterday at The Screaming Bean Cafe in Aberdeen. It was great to be out in the community and meet some new folks! Our last monthly meeting for this fiscal year is Monday, June 22nd at 6:45 p.m. at the McFaul Activity Center, 525 W. MacPhail Rd., Bel Air. Our meetings are open to the public, feel free to join us!

Our commissioners continue to be out and about in the community. Recently, Angela Rose, Erin Flynn and Claudia Nachtigal attended the Harford County Good Scout Award event and Debbie Schreiber and Erin Flynn joined the festivities at CPWN's 30th Anniversary Party. Thank you all for representing Harford County Commission for Women where we promote the economic, social and political equity of women.

The Commission welcomed Barbara Richardson, Director, Harford County Department of Housing & Community Services to our April meeting. Barbara reviewed the various services the department covers through Housing & Community Development, Harford Transit LINK, Office on Aging, Office of Children, Youth & Families, Office of Disability Services, Office of Drug Control Policy, Office of Human Relations and Volunteer Harford.
