📹 We have a new intern! Here's a short interview with Jimmy, who graduated from the Cecil County School of Technology in May, where he had been participating in the "Habi-Tech" Program, building a Habitat house in partnership with Habitat Susquehanna.

🔨🏡 Jimmy will be working as an Assistant Site Supervisor on our build sites for a few days each week while attending classes during his first year at Cecil College.

⏰ These new, shortened donation hours will give the Aberdeen ReStore staff a chance to catch up with inventory and clean up the back area where items are first deposited.

If you want to drop off items that you are donating, on Tuesdays to Fridays, the donation hours are now 10 AM to 2:30 PM. On Saturdays, the donation hours are now 9 AM to 2 PM. Remember, the ReStore is closed Sundays and Mondays.

When you shop at the ReStore, you help Habitat build!

We love celebrating the meaningful passages of time, such as when homeowners reach milestone anniversaries living in their Habitat homes. They are a testament to the success of our Homeownership Program!

🙌 We are grateful to have been awarded a Maryland Housing Counseling Fund (MHCF) grant through the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD). This funding allows us to continue delivering vital housing counseling services, including pre- and post-purchase homeownership counseling, financial education, and credit coaching, for aspiring, new, and existing homeowners.

👏 DHCD is a trusted, long-standing partner in our mission to expand homeownership opportunities. This MHCF grant will help struggling individuals and low-income families improve their lives, as they work to achieve financial stability and affordable homeownership through our program. Thank you, DHCD!
